Systems We've Built

Complete Lines,
Up to 20 Conveyors Each

Remcon's specialty is conveyor systems that typically include processing machinery such as sorting, crushing, screening, and other equipment. The majority of our production has been for the recycling and solid waste industries, and we have also built machinery for mining, construction, manufacturing, and more. These systems are built for recycling facilities that typically handle materials that are rough on equipment.

What Goes into a System

Every Piece,
One Vendor

A complete system is more than conveyors. Start with a category — each entry covers how it works, where it fits, and what it replaces.

01

Design

Some of our customers know from experience what they need, others don't. We work with both, to do our part to obtain the best design. We also keep in mind the installation capabilities throughout the design process, to make things as easy and safe to install as possible, regardless of who is doing the install.

02

Electrical Controls

We write the operating logic and specifications, and contract the control panel to a UL listed panel shop. We try to make sure that the user interface is as simple and clear as it can be, while also having all the functions, safety features, and user-based function restrictions that are needed for each application.

03

Fabrication

We fabricate our conveyors and other standard products in our own shop. We also maintain good relationships with other shops for specialized work, such as machining, electrical control panels, etc. Whether we build it or have someone else do the work, we always try to maintain the highest quality standards.

04

Coordination with Contractors & Other Suppliers

Whether we are managing the whole system, or just our portion of it, we prefer direct contact with the other contractors involved in the project to make sure they receive the information they need from us, and vice-versa. This helps prevent problems onsite and helps everything come together smoothly.

05

Shipping

We hire the haulers, design the loads (by computer, to obtain the most load per truck in the safest manner), load the trucks (building proper dunnage for secure loading), and typically unload the truck as well, on projects that we install.

06

Installation

We make arrangements (equipment rental, travel, etc.), supply workers or supervise a customer's workers if they prefer (to reduce costs). We typically work throughout the United States but have also completed projects in Europe, Canada, Sweden, and Australia.

Beyond Our Own Shop

Integrating Other Machinery
into a System

In addition to our specialty of conveyor fabrication, Remcon also incorporates specialized equipment from other manufacturers — light-duty and modular roller conveyors, disc screens, shredders, walking floors, etc. — into our systems.

The Best of Other Companies' Products

Incorporating proven machinery from other manufacturers has allowed us to include the best of other companies' products in our systems — without being distracted from doing what we do best: building conveyors and their related products.

Problems Caught on Paper

We ask the other companies what works best for feeding into and out of their machinery, and we ask for drawings of their machinery as soon as possible, to check for possible problems such as safety and processing capacity.
